The First Nations Awards go online
It’s National Reconciliation Week this week, a time to acknowledge, discuss and learn more about Indigenous and Torres Strait Islander peoples and their culture. There are many great events all week that you can get involved in, either online or on the TV and one such event is tonight with the Australia Council for the Arts holding their annual First Nations Arts Awards.
These awards recognise and celebrate outstanding creativity of First Nations artists and the Executive Director of the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Arts for the Australia Council for the Arts, Lydia Miller, joined Mick to talk about this year’s awards and how you can get involved.
