It is the uneducated opinion of 2SER Breakfast that the best part about being in a band isn’t just the music you’ve created, the shows performed and the lives of listeners changed, but the friends you made along the way.

Pop Filter are Lachlan Denton, Nick Kearton (Cool Sounds), Liam Halliwell (Snowy), Curtis Wakeling and Jordan Thompson, a band whose members stretch between cities but whose shared history binds them together, with their number one goal being that of nurturing their friendship and continuing to make music together.

Lachlan from Pop Filter joined 2SER Breakfast to chat about their new album Ray and Lorraine’s, local shows at the Trocadero Room this Saturday 16 November to launch the record and confirmation that yes indeed, friendship is the reason for starting a band.
