Despite expectations of being able to capitalise on ‘freedom’ and anti-vax votes to win seats in the recent election, both Clive Palmer’s United Australia Party and Pauline Hanson’s One Nation under-performed.

We spoke to Associate Professor Benjamin Moffitt from the ACU to explore why these parties failed to attract the necessary votes and the future of these parties, in the Senate and otherwise.
