The Girl in the Machine

Getting its Australian premiere is a new play that explores the way in which technology is changing our daily lives and what it means to be human.

The work by Scottish playwright Stef Smith The Girl in the Machine focuses on how the domestic life of the two central characters change when a mysterious black box appears at their door, asking questions about whether we have become dependent on the machines we use to mediate our existence.

Stephen Hill chatted to actor Brendon McClelland about this production that opens tomorrow at the Riverside Theatre.

Tickets available at Riverside Box Office
