The Great Barrier Reef’s “In Danger” Listing
The Great Barrier Reef is vast, beautiful and fragile, and as you may know – it’s under threat. Jon Day is an Adjunct Senior Research Fellow at the ARC Centre of Excellence for Coral Reef Studies at James Cook University and has been working on the reef for 28 years. He joined the Thursday Daily to talk about what an “In Danger” listing would mean – and why our government fought against it.
