Romeo & Juliet is back at at Bell Shakespeare’s new Neilson Nutshell theatre, but with a twist.

Artistic Director Peter Evans is providing the audience a different insight into these classic characters. In this new adaptation, Romeo and Juliet are in their 30s, bringing a new maturity in these roles, while Mercutio and Paris are both played by women.

It’s the first production played at the new Neilson Nutshell theatre in Dawes Point and is on until 27th August.
