To help create a more welcoming and inclusive start to young lives, Wiradjuri woman and early childhood educator, Jessica Staines founded the Koori Curriculum, an Aboriginal early childhood consultancy based in Sydney’s inner west. Here, teachers are informed how to include Aboriginal and Torres strait islander perspectives in early childhood curriculum.
