The Lawless Business of Skywriting
If you were out and about last Sunday and happened to look up, chances are you saw the phrase ‘Choose Life’ in skywriting.
The message might have got you thinking not only about the abortion debate before NSW parliament, but also about who makes these messages and who (if anyone) regulate them.
To discuss skywriting, The Daily‘s Wilamina Russo was joined by Dr Bradley L Garett, a cultural geographer at the University of Sydney and author of Explore Everything: Place-Hacking the City (Verso Books) and the forthcoming Bunker: The Architecture of Dread (Penguin Books).
