The Legacy from Birdz is only just beginning

Artists enter into music for many reasons. It may be an escape, an outlet of creativity or to communicate important messages. For Birdz, it feels like all three are relevant as he delivers his ground-breaking second album, Legacy.

As the title suggests, this album of ten powerful and ultimately bop-worthy tracks, establish a line of communication from Birdz to the wider community. There are themes of identity and self-determination, but also tracks that seek to educate and reveal some of Birdz’s personal story and heritage.

The Tuckshop was very excited to not only talk to an artist that is on the rise, but someone who will always have the esteemed position of being the first artist ever played on The Tuckshop!
