As Mardi Gras approaches, so does the annual Mardi Gras film festival. Shining a light on queer films and experiences, the festival features 161 films across 77 unique programs. With screenings all over the city and online, there’s something for everyone!

The festival will be screening in Sydney from 15 to 29 February 2024, and on-demand encore streaming nationwide from 1 to 11 March 2024.

Festival Director Lisa Rose came past the 2SER studios this week and had a chat with producer Jasmin Williams on Wednesday Drive.

We talked about the importance of representation in film, queer audiences and some of her favourite features of this year’s fest.
