The Missing Links in Sydney’s Bike Network
It’s been over 10 years since the City of Sydney published its major Cycling Strategy and Action Plan, but many of the City’s planned bike lanes remain unfinished, and the network is far from complete.
In some cases, Sydney’s green bike lanes abruptly end, funnelling riders back into heavy motor traffic.
Recently, the City announced it’ll be redoubling its efforts to complete the network and join up those lanes to encourage more people to jump on their bikes. Tess chatted with Dave Borella from BIKESydney about the importance of connecting Sydney’s bicycle network.
