The Mobile Charity “sleepbus” That Is Working To End Homelessness
Over 100,000 people are now classified as homeless in Australia. In an effort to combat the rising numbers and broader issue, shelters and safe homes are dotted around the city, but many are difficult to access, or have limitations for residence such as unappealing no-pet-policies. Well, one charity is aiming to change that with a mobile refuge by the name of ‘Sleepbus’. The charity caters to the homeless and their beloved animals. Founder of Sleepbus Simon Rowe joins Julia Carr-Catzel to talk about his charity.
