The OG Flower Pollinator – 3MT
Ruby Stephens from Macquarie University’s Faculty of Science and Engineering joined us on Tuesday Daily as one of the academics of a competition called Three Minute Thesis.
3MT – 3 Minute Thesis – entrants are challenged to reduce their 80,000 word thesis (which typically takes 9 hours to present), down into a 3 minute video.
Ruby was the all-round winner of Macquarie University’s 3MT competition, and competed in the 2022 Asia-Pacific semi-final. We chatted about wind and water pollination, and the media narrative around pollinators, like bees, being in trouble.
