The Path to a COVID-19 Vaccine in Australia

The Morrison government recently announced a $1.5 billion investment into two new deals for production of up to 134 million doses of a COVID-19 vaccine with Pfizer and Novavax, adding to prior agreements with the Universities of Oxford and Queensland with a goal of rollout in ‘early 2021’. We were joined this morning to discuss the deals and Australia’s path to a vaccine by renowned global vaccine expert Professor Tony Cunningham, Co-Director at the Centre for Virus Research at the Westmead Institute.
