The Player Kings Parts 1 & 2 is a two-part play on a collection of eight Shakespearean history plays that shine a familiar light on how political systems collapse and societies devour their own potential – think Game of Thrones.
Brought to you by Sport For Jove and the Seymour Centre, this will be the biggest undertaking in Sport For Jove’s history. With Damien Ryan at the helm, The Player Kings will reimage a Globe-like arena on the York stage at the Seymour Centre from 26 March – 5 April.
