Up to 80 percent of marine rubbish is made up of plastic. Marina Debris‘ world is full of plastic as well…plastic she has collected the shorelines of beaches all over the world. She’s been cleaning rubbish off LA and Sydney beaches for over 16 years and realised it was time to target the cause, not the symptoms. Using her creative talent and aptitude for activism, she has created pieces of art to draw attention to this plastic pollution crisis. She spoke with Nic about her artivist work.
