The push for adequate sex education in high schools

When most individuals reminisce back to what their sex education was like in high school, words such as outdated, conservative, old-fashioned, and even exclusive may come to mind. The main problem that we are currently facing is that young adults in high school are still describing their sex education with these same words and most importantly when talking to high school students about this issue, the topic of consent fails to arise. We were joined by Associate Professor Jane Mills from UNSW to discuss the importance of teaching realistic sex education and consent throughout Australian high schools.
