The Rediscovery of the Cloaked Bee

In the tablelands of North Eastern Queensland, the native bee species P. lactiferus (pron.: lack-TI-fer-us) – commonly referred to as the Cloaked Bee – has been rediscovered. The last time it was seen was 100 years ago. The rediscovery highlights how little we actually know about our native bee populations.
