As part of an exchange program, GuriNgai man and music student Jake Magi attended a three-week teaching program throughout June in the remote community of Maningrida, Arnhem Land. In an interview with presenter Eleanor Godley he discusses the process of crafting a didgeridoo from scratch, teaching music at Maningrida College and connecting with the local community in a unique part of Australia that is closed off to tourists and the public.
