Public housing provides homes for an abundance of Australians struggling financially, but is enough being done to maintain the safety of residents that are no longer able to care for themselves?

Reporter Aaron Moss sat down with Katherine, an elderly woman living in public housing to hear her experiences and learn about the fears and struggles both herself and other residents face, as many are falling through the cracks. It’s important to shed light on these problems as Katherine explains that public housing was not her choice nor anyone’s first choice. Instead, it is something that happens out of necessity and could occur to any one of us.
