John Grant is an acclaimed American singer, musician, and songwriter, born American, now based in Iceland. citizenship.

John Grant first became known as the co-founder, lead singer, pianist, and primary songwriter for The Czars, and has since collaborated with musical and artistic acts from Elton John and Tracey Thorn to the BBC’s Philharmonic Orchestra.

In 2010 he embarked on a solo career and has since released three (sorry, make that six) critically acclaimed albums, the most recent of which is The Art Of The Lie, an album that John will be bringing to town, as part of shows at the City Recital Hall, 11 March 2025.
