Uni staff demand better working conditions
The University of Sydney branch of National Tertiary Education Union (NTEU) organised a picket line today to oppose the rampant casualisation, unruly contracts, job insecurity and unfair treatment. “Staff working conditions are student learning conditions,” said the students on-ground who came to stand along with their teachers.
All campus operations were shut for the day and entering the campus for non-strike purposes not encouraged.
