Every two years Americans are sent to the polls, whether that be a presidential or mid-term election, this year the midterms offer the first nationwide referendum on Donald Trump as the people of America decide whether he should be able to maintain a governing majority in the House and the Senate. As the results roll in we chatted to the American Centre Studies fellow Dr. Ed Blakeley to update us on the current state of play and who the winners and losers of the day have been.
