‘The Variety Show’ a debut Album by Hector Morlet

How do you record a whole album in your bedroom?

Perth based artist Hector Morlet has all the answers after writing and producing his debut Album ‘The Variety Show’ in his bedroom! This new release looks into Hector’s influences, giving the listener a deeper understanding of whats in his day to day playlist. Fusing laden indie psych with chill pop vibes, the album has a exhibition feel as if each song is an piece looking into Hector’s interpretation of a past/presence influence.

The name of the album was inspired by a series of weekly shows Hector hosted at Mojos in North Fremantle last year where he would have unusual guest such as clowns or ventriloquist to preform in between music sets.
