The Virtual APRA Music Awards 2020

Just because we’ve all been locked down for a bit doesn’t mean that the music industry stops. In fact, we’ve seen many great releases over the last few months and people flocking to radio, streaming and good old physical media to get their fix of new music.

The Virtual APRA Music Awards look to recognise those artists that have been noted as performing well in the last year, but peer-voted awards recognise the cream of the Australian song-writing crop. This Monday will see a gala night, online, hosted by Briggs and awarding those artists that have created something special in the last twelve months. Milly Petriella, Executive Producer of the Awards, spoke to Mick about the night and how you can get involved.
