The Warrior, the Voyager and the Artist

History is not a subject matter belonging to the dustbin of the distant past.  History in it-self is a treasure trove of human endeavor, ranging from written records across disciplines, cultural interactions, geo-political intrigue and cultural memory, just to name a few.   Historians are of the view that the discipline has the ability to inform our sense of collective identity through reflection and inquiry.  Jess spoke with Associate Professor Kate Fullagar from Macquarie University about the nature of colonial memory, her new book; ‘the Warrior, the voyager and the artist’ and her role in the Bennelong podcast being produced at 2Ser.
