Another week has passed and what a week it was – in the news at least.  It was an eventful time for Aged Care.  A Royal Commission into the Sector was announced; a former aged care worker was caught on camera abusing a dementia patient and subsequently sentenced to 6 months home detention; and rumours of the Minister for Aged Care possibly crossing the floor for good were in the air.   More needles were found in fruit, this time in South Australia; and tougher new laws were promptly passed as a result.  A report about the ineffectiveness of the Sydney Light Rail was leaked; and Qantas announced their intention to order aircraft capable of flying between Sydney and London in 20 hours.
