On Monday 11th September, Labor introduced a marriage equality bill to parliament that aims to bypass the plebiscite that’s being pitched for February. However this isn’t the first time a marriage equality bill has been introduced to parliament, and none of the others have actually passed. So what chance does this one have, and how will it impact the proposed plebiscite?
