This Day in History, December 4th

Jumping in the 2ser time machine, on today’s date we find Austrasian king Carloman I dying of a severe nosebleed, according to some sources, freeing up his more famous brother, Charlemagne, to go do the things he got famous for. Merchant ship, the Mary Celeste, was found drifting and abandoned in the Atlantic Ocean, sparking one of the martime world’s greatest mysteries, the Million Dollar Quartet got together for the first, and last, time, and we celebrate birthdays for Ronnie Corbett, Jeff Bridges, Dennis Wilson, Jay-Z, and last surviving member of the original Lynyrd Skynyrd, Gary Rossington!
