His rival, Maxentius, also got a parade but only his head was invited. ‘Black Tuesday’, when 16 million shares were dumped on the US stock market, further fueled the Great Depression, and in one of Australia’s great miscarriages of justice, Lindy Chamberlain was sentenced today to life imprisonment for the murder of her baby daughter Azaria (but thankfully later released and pardoned).
