This Is A Stained Glass Window – Video Installation By The Barbara Cleveland Collective
‘This is a stained glass window’ is the first ever presentation by feminist artist collective Barbara Cleveland and a video installation that is being held from the 30th of November until the 21st of December at the Sullivan & Strumpf gallery in Zetland. With past projects that have been informed by queer and feminist methologies, ‘This Is A Stained Glass Window’ is inspired by the description of the friendship between two authors, political theorist Hannah Arendt and novelist Mary McCarthy who describe their friendship as a ‘thinking business for and with each other’.
