This week is National Pain Week, focusing on championing the needs of the many Australians living with some form of chronic pain. In a new survey of chronic pain sufferers, 86% have reported facing stigma or negative attitudes to what is often dubbed a “silent” or “invisible” problem, and 75% want medicinal cannabis as an option. President and founder of Chronic Pain Australia, Coralie Wales, joined The Daily to explore the specifics of chronic pain and why many people are opting for cannabis as an option to alleviate their condition.
