The threat of sexual violence during conflict
When we think about emergency responses in times of conflict, we think about food, water and health supplies. But in the rush to provide assistance women and children can be left behind. Pregnant women are especially vulnerable, and finding a safe birthing facility can be a challenge. But sexual violence in times of conflict is also rife.
