Threats to Media Ahead of August Polls
With the upcoming election, the situation for journalists’ face difficult times as there are worries about the freedom of speech. According to a report by Human Rights Watch and Article 19, Authorities in Kenya have committed a range of abuses against journalists reporting on sensitive issues, threatening freedom of expression ahead of elections slated for August 8, 2017.
