3MT – 3 Minute Thesis – is a competition where entrants are challenged to reduce their 80,000 word thesis (which typically takes 9 hours to present), down into a 3 minute video. So how does one go about condensing dense information into a short summary?  Callum McDiarmid, who is the runner up of this year 3MT competition  and a PHD candidate at Macquarie University, School of Natural Sciences joined us for a chat about his project “The genetic collaboration that powers you”.
