Dating or finding a supportive peer group can be challenging for people with disabilities who struggle to find partners or friends that understand their unique experiences and can accommodate their needs. This challenge is even harder for LGBTQIA+ individuals with disabilities who face even further discrimination and prejudice.

This week on Thursday Drive, Al spoke to Nell and Lex, members of the Rainbow Bridge Social Club, a social group for LGBTQIA+ individuals with disabilities, who share their firsthand experiences of what it is like finding a group that supports them navigating their unique experiences
