Code Five in the CBAA’s Codes of Practice, which govern our broadcasting sector’s operational standards and programming practice, indicates a “commitment to develop Australian music”. Platforming homegrown talent is foundational to who we are as 2SER, and one of the most vocal advocates of this was Tracee Hutchison, who presented the Australian Independent Music Show on these very airwaves in the early 1980s, and dropped by on Drive to reflect on how 2SER kickstarted her now four-decade-plus career.
