Trans Day of Visibility Rally
“We see dismantling capitalism, colonisation, racism, ableism and cis-sexism as central to the fight for our rights.”
While the transgender community is gaining increasing visibility in the public sphere, there are still a variety of obstacles to face before they gain equal rights. In order to make resistance visible, trans people, allies and members of the wider community alike are banding together for the Trans Day of Visibility Rally, this Sunday the 31st of March.
This morning on Breakfast Tess was joined by members of Trans Action Warrang-Sydney Hayden Moon and Sid Littlewood, to chat about some of the issues facing the trans community and what we can expect from Sunday’s event.
