This week for Tuesday Book Club, Andrew brought in Claire Varley’s recently released “The Book Of Ordinary People”. Set in the suburbs of Melbourne, the novel follows several separate lives and how they’re impacted differently by certain events. In our connected world, it’s easy to get caught up with other people’s “shiny lives” on Facebook and Instagram, but in reality all ordinary lives are a lot like everyone else’s- and sometimes the best way to show that is a good old traffic jam.
