Turnbull in China
As Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull’s visit to China continues with delegations with President Xi Jinping, it has come into question that Turnbull should not only discuss trade and security, but also with the most intense crackdown China has had on civil society in the past 20 years.
The Chinese government has started to move back towards a repressive China in the last 3 years under Jinping’s rule.
We discussed Australia’s involvement with the ever increasing issue with Elaine Pearson, Adjunct Lecturer in Law at University of New South Wales.
