TV Reboots: Do We Give It The Boot Too Quickly?
In the past decade, we have seen a spark in TV reboots attempting to re-engage their audience and gain a new one with younger generations. In the Australian TV landscape, we often have limited space for reboots on the silver screen and find that audiences drop off without really giving it a chance. However the question lies, do we give TV reboots enough of a chance before discarding them? The Daily was joined on the line by Dr. Siobhan Lyons from Department of Media, Music, Communication and Cultural Studies at Macquarie University to answer these questions.
