Live at 2SER featuring Twine

2SER loves Australian music, and in collaboration with our friends at Soft Spot Recordings, we’re excited to share the seventh film in a series showcasing some of the amazing musical talent we have in this country.

Twine are one of the most exciting live groups in the country. The Kaurna land/Adelaide-based five piece originally began as the solo project of frontman Tom Katsaras in 2021 before coalescing with like-minded friends into the current lineup. Shredding the edges between noise-rock, folk and country, their sound is a virtuosic maelstrom of loud guitars, abstracted ruminations, brutal rhythms and tight-wound anxiety.

Their recent debut album New Old Horse was recently released on Dinosaur City Records and has been winning acclaim across community radio and beyond. An incredible live outfit, we were extremely privileged to capture Twine performing live in the 2SER studios and are excited to share the recording in full with you.
