Type 2 diabetes: our fastest growing chronic condition
It’s Australia’s fastest growing disease and by 2030 it is estimated that one in ten adults across the world will have Type 2 Diabetes. It already affects over 1.7 million Australians and that number is not expected to drop. To find out more details about the risks of Type 2 Diabetes we spoke to Professor Merlin Thomas from the Department of Diabetes at Monash University.
