The UK has gone into extreme lockdown laws to combat the current wave of COVID. Residents will be on lockdown till March while receiving the vaccine as well. Boris Johnson is making sure that this time his government doesn’t make the same mistake they made back in July. Tougher restrictions will hopefully ease the stress hospitals in the UK are facing, and also slow down the spread of this virus. 2SER was joined by Blair Williams from the Australian National University.
