Uncertainty ahead of German election

This weekend Germans go to the polls in a time of marked political volatility, which is seeing Germany’s two main traditional parties, the Social Democratic Party and the CDU, challenged across various political fronts.
This has included the shock rise in support for the far-right Alternative for Deutschland party.
