He has described himself as a disco minimalist. An artist that can create a vibe, a groove, a beat from what sounds like the smallest of sounds. Of course, he can also blow you away with bombastic synths and dynamic melodies. Harvey Sutherland has a way of taking you on a journey with every song.
Harvey (or Mike Katz to his friends) has been on the electronic music scene for over a decade, but the artist has not yet released a full-length album – until now. On Friday, Boy was released and it’s an album full of luscious layers of synths, Motorik beats, funky-ass bass and the occasional surprise vocal!
