Underground mapping technologies

No doubt you’ve watched countless crime dramas and police shows on television where the investigators pinpoint the location of the buried body. But in real life, it’s not always as easy as finding the freshly-turned soil and muddied footprints of the killer.

So how do they do it? The Daily’s Sam Baran was joined by Ian Moffat a research fellow in archaeological science at Flinders University to find out.
