University Isn’t The Only Option: Spotlighting Vocational Education

Most parents would tell their kids to go to uni after finishing high school. It’s definitely a popular pathway. But the latest report from the Grattan Institute says that some university students would’ve been better off in vocational education, doing TAFE courses, apprenticeships and so on. This comes over concerns  about job struggles and skills shortages. In fact according to the vocational education industry, there’s a 43 percent drop intrade-based enrolments. We were joined by Brian Wexham, CEO of SkillsOne Television, to talk more about vocational education and why it’s important.
