Unspoken Words: The Festival By And For Artists

One of the great things about Sydney is that there is so much going on. Like right now, happening in venues across the inner city, is a little-known festival named Unspoken Words. The festival brings together local artists and creatives to showcase their work and discuss important social issues. This year, the festival focuses on health and self-care. On the Weekend Breakfast show, we spoke with festival director Emma Rose Smith and poet Joseph Schwartzkopf about their work.

Tickets are still available for the closing night of the festival (Sunday 16 September 2018):

Small Business and Safer Spaces – 1pm-5:30pm at the Newtown Neighbourhood Centre

Closing Night: Artivism – 7pm-10pm at the Imperial Hotel, Erskineville
