Urban Agriculture Month with Farm It Forward

November is Urban Agriculture Month is a month-long celebration throwing the spotlight on the innovative, diverse, and ever-evolving urban agriculture movement in Australia.

One of the many organisations getting involved with Urban Agriculture Month is Farm It Forward, a not-for-profit urban farming social enterprise model connecting landowners and local young people who are passionate about growing food. The project fosters youth and community mental health, develops skills, training and job opportunities, while tackling social isolation and increasing community wellbeing.

Farm It Forward’s Co-Founder, Coordinator (and Farmer!) Manu Prigioni joined 2SER Breakfast to discuss. Manu will be presenting as part of the Working Where It Counts panel at Urban Agriculture Month, 3:20pm – 4:20pm Saturday 18th November 2023 – full program available here.
